About the piece
This embroidery is a part of my Field Series where I studied the textures and colors of a single field through the course of an entire year. I visited the field every few weeks to observe how it changed and photographed what I saw. Then I headed to my studio and created art out of what I noticed. The main goal of this project was to find wonder in the ordinary; to get people to stop and notice the things in their lives that go overlooked and unnoticed (like a small blade of grass), and to find some beauty there. I release these pieces on a seasonal basis, and this is part of the series I did during the spring months. 
It comes ready to hang or display on a shelf. All of my designs are original and hand stitched.
