About the collection
I have long been interested in the way that different plants group and relate to one another in a larger landscape. In this series: Field Study, I let the inspiration run free and am created a series of abstract landscapes inspired by thinking about landscapes in small sections or “studies” of a selected grouping of plants. These little vignettes of a landscape then diffuse out into the negative space surrounding them.
