About the collection
I have long been interested in the way that different plants group and relate to one another in a larger landscape. In this series: Woven Fields, I used a hand woven piece of cloth be the anchor for the landscape. While creating this series I was thinking about landscapes in small sections or “studies” of a selected grouping of plants. These little vignettes of a landscape then diffuse out into the negative space surrounding them.
